Reviews and Ratings
I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The location is superb, offering fantastic views over the bay, although overlooking a peculiarly constructed hospital. The service was top-notch, with staff who were kind, gracious, and happy to assist. The dining experience was among the best I've had in Japan, with a mix of Western and local cuisine. The rooms were spacious, featuring a traditional tatami area with a hot water pot and Japanese tea that added a lovely touch to the stay.
The ryokan offers standard yet clean and minimalist rooms with small adjoining areas for bathing and using the toilet. The staff was accommodating and made an effort to enhance our stay by providing an upgraded room due to the closure of the onsens. The location, though slightly remote, offers beautiful views of the ocean and access to the city center. The dining experience provided a mix of Western and local cuisine, with the opportunity to prepare bacon and eggs personally.
I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel with an incredible view of the sea, the bay, and the Hirado bridge illuminated at night from my upgraded room due to the onsens being closed. The service was top-notch, with staff going out of their way to assist us. The dining experience was exceptional, offering a wide variety of Japanese dishes, including the opportunity to cook our own breakfast on a brazier.
My stay at this ryokan was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were a bit worn out but clean, with some minimalist decor. The traditional low table and Japanese tea set added a nice touch. The service was nice; the staff even took us directly to the bus station, which was a thoughtful gesture. The location, with fantastic views over the bay, was superb, although the view of the hospital was less appealing. The dining experience was among the best I had in Japan, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The facilities were decent, though not particularly outstanding.
